The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky and the night comer - 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 It is the star that shines with a piercing brightness -- 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
