The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Most surely He is able to return him (to life). 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
