Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 There is no human being but has a protector over him (or her) (i.e. angels incharge of each human being guarding him, writing his good and bad deeds, etc.) 4 Let man reflect on what he was created from. 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
