The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth). 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
