Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
