The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
