The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
