The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
