The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
