The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
