Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
