The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created and proportioned 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
