Dawn (Al-Fajr)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Night (Al-Layl) before The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the Dawn 1 And by oath of ten nights. 2 And by the even and the odd, 3 and by the passing night, 4 Indeed in that there is an oath for a man of sense. 5 Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with Ad, 6 the people of the huge columned city of Eram 7 the like of which was never created in the land, 8 (Also consider how He dealt with) the Thamud, who carved their houses out of the rocks in the valley. 9 And with Pharaoh of the tent pegs 10 [All of] whom oppressed within the lands 11 and exceeded in corruption therein. 12 so your Lord unleashed on them the scourge of punishment: 13 indeed, your Lord is ever watchful. 14 As for the human being, when his Lord tests him, honors him, and grants him bounty, he says, "God has honored me". 15 whereas, whenever He tries him by straitening his means of livelihood, he says, "My Sustainer has disgraced me!" 16 But nay, nay, [O men, consider all that you do and fail to do:] you are not generous towards the orphan, 17 and you do not urge one another to feed the needy, 18 Why do you take away the inheritance of others indiscriminately 19 and love the riches, loving them ardently. 20 Nay! when the earth is made to crumble to pieces, 21 And thy Lord shall come and the angels, rank on rank. 22 and Gehenna (Hell) is brought near on that Day the human will remember, and how shall the Reminder be for him? 23 He will say: Ah, would that I had sent before me (some provision) for my life! 24 So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish. 25 none shall bind as He binds. 26 (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! 27 Return thou unto thy Sustainer, well-pleased [and] pleasing [Him]: 28 So enter among My servants, 29 "Yea, enter thou My Heaven! 30
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
