The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sun and its brightness 1 And the moon as she follows in his wake, 2 And by oath of the day when it reveals it 3 And [by] the night when it covers it 4 And by oath of the heaven and by oath of Him Who made it. 5 The earth and its spreading out, 6 By the soul, and That which shaped it 7 and inspired it with knowledge of evil and piety, 8 prosperous is he who purified it, 9 and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). 10 Thamood cried lies in their insolence 11 when that most hapless wretch from among them rushed forward [to commit his evil deed,] 12 the Messenger of Allah said to them: '(This is) the shecamel of Allah, let her drink' 13 But they called him a liar and slaughtered her, therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground). 14 And He feared not the consequence thereof 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
