Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 As for he who gives and fears Allah 5 and believes in the truth of the ultimate good 6 Unto him therefore We shall indeed make easy the path to ease. 7 but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, 8 And gives the lie to Al-Husna (see Verse No: 6 footnote); 9 We shall surely ease him to the Hardship; 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Surely Ours is it to show the way, 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 Wherefore I have warned you of Fire flaming, 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 But the God-fearing shall be kept away from it, 17 He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification, 18 And is under no one's obligation to return his favour, 19 Except only the desire to seek the Countenance of his Lord, the Most High; 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
