The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL THE night to witness when it covers over, 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 And the creating of the male and the female, 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And accepts the best, 6 Unto him therefore We shall indeed make easy the path to ease. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and have no faith in receiving any reward (from God). 9 For him We shall ease the way of adversity, 10 His wealth will not avail him when he falls into ruin. 11 Indeed, Guidance is Ours, 12 And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning. 13 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs. 16 But the God-fearing shall be kept away from it, 17 He who spends his wealth for increase in self-purification, 18 They do not expect any reward 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
