The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
