The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
