Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
