Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the white forenoon 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
