The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
