Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the morning hours 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
