Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
