The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Read with the name of your Lord Who created, 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Recite: and your Lord is Most Generous, 3 The One Who taught to write with the pen. 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, 6 for he thinks himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely your returning is to your Lord. 8 Have you seen the one who forbids 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Seest thou if he is on (the road of) Guidance?- 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Does he, then, not know that God sees [all]? 14 Nay! if he desist not, We would certainly smite his forehead, 15 A lying, sinning forelock. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We will call the guards of Hell (to deal with him)! 18 Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
