Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night of Power is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months; 3 The angels and Jibreel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair, 4 does it make secure, until the rise of dawn. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
