Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieved from among the people of the Book and the associaters could not break off, until there had come unto them the evidence. 1 A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures 2 wherein there are ordinances of ever-true soundness and clarity. 3 Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. 4 They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
