Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
