The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
