The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
