The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
