The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
