Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
