The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
