The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
