Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
