Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting chargers, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
