The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
