The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
