Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
