The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
