The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
