The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
