The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 Raging Fire. 11
