The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In columns outstretched. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
