The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
