O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 Guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for unbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another to attain to your Sustainer's forgiveness and to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for the God-conscious 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour! 136 Divers institutions have passed away before you; journey in the land, and behold how was the end of those that cried lies. 137 This (the Quran) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2). 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 and so that Allah will examine those who believe and efface the unbelievers. 141 Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without God know who of you have struggled and who are patient? 142 You were longing for death, before you met it. Now you have seen it with your own eyes. 143
