Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
