Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
