Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
