Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
